Ordovician Mallacoota Beds.

The Mallacoota district consists of low compacted turbidite beds that is surrounded by the 87,500 hectare Croajingolong National Park. With its 100 km of undeveloped coastline, the area has the most extensive coastal exposure of Palaeozoic sedimentary rock in Victoria. The Ordovician timeline in geology sits within the Palaeozoic era.
